How Are Properties Advertised?
Properties are advertised each week on this website. They are also advertised through digital television on the looking local channel, through the public access computers and in the newsletter that is available in a variety of locations. (Please click here to see where the newsletter and public access computers are available)
Properties appear on this website and digital television at midnight on Wednesday, and are available for bidding until midnight on the following Wednesday.
The Adverts
The adverts tell you the landlord, location, size, rent and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you.
The advert also tells you if there are any qualifying criteria that the applicant must meet, such as a minimum age requirement.
Expressing Your Interest in a Property
You can bid for up to 2 social housing properties each week in each council area you are registered. However, there is no limit on the number of other housing options you can apply for. You can bid in any of the following ways:
