Revised Home Options Policy
The Home Options Policy has recently been revised to include a new section (section 5) on 'retrospecitve bididng'. Retrospective bidding means placing a bid after the bididng cycle has closed. This can happen if the technology that is usually available to bid with is for some reason unavailable for a prolonged period of time, as defined in the policy.

Home Options selected as 2008 e-Government Award Finalist
The Home Options Scheme was recently selected as a finalist from hundreds of submissions in the category of 'Using ICT & e-Government services to improve social inclusion or improve lives and communities'. The scheme was selected mainly for its work with Digi TV to deliver bidding via digital television and for its work with other Choice Based Lettings Partnerships across the county.
